Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained the absence of Paul Pogba for victory over Istanbul Basaksehir.
United won the Champions League group clash 4-1 on the night.
On Pogba, Solskjaer insisted: "His ankle was swollen, he trained yesterday but was not feeling well.
"Then we had confirmation on Tuesday morning that he could not play."
United also defeated West Brom on Saturday without the Frenchman.
