Chelsea defender Thiago Silva admits he's had to "reinvent" himself this season in England.
Silva, 36, says the heavy workload has admitted a change of approach with his new club.
He said at a Brazil media conference, "You have to constantly reinvent yourself. We lose players infected with Covid-19, or others who are injured because we play a lot of matches. We are not machines. We have seen recent studies showing that it is more likely that we are injured after having played four or five matches (every three days).
"It is very worrying for us. Before, I ate a lot of nonsense, after, and sometimes even before matches. But now I'm much more careful. During my last 2 matches, I had a terrible headache afterwards, because there are non-stop aerial duels, a very high pace of play."
