Saint Etienne fullback Mathieu Debuchy says the players will be happy if William Saliba returned in January.
The Arsenal defender is being linked with a loan return to ASSE.
Debuchy told Telefoot: "William, we know his qualities, he was very impressive in Saint-Etienne.
“Unfortunately at Arsenal, his debut did not go the way he wanted. I think of William, but also of Wesley (Fofana) who left us. They were two defenders who did us an incredible good and it was a loss.
"William will be welcome and he will have the advantage of knowing the house."
