Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers was satisfied with their 3-3 draw with Europa League opponents Braga.
Youri Tielemans and James Maddison were picked out by Rodgers as Leicester City's “catalysts" after their introductions helped secure the point.
“We wanted Youri to be the controller," Rodgers said on his substitutes. “He dictated the tempo of the game.
“In the second half we were excellent in our football and he and James were the catalysts for that. It was a much better second half and it was an exciting game.
“James is consistently showing he's at a really high level. You saw the dynamic of the game change when you bring in players of the profile and quality in Youri and him, and Vards.
“I also thought Ayo did well when he came and him and Jamie linked up very well.
“James is a highly-gifted player who has still got so much improvement to make. He's just turned 24. He's loving the learning. You saw his quality when he came in, he was brilliant and really made a difference."
