Not aimed at denying voting right: Bung

Kota Kinabalu: Barisan Nasional (BN) Sabah welcomes the decision by the Agong to declare the Proclamation of Emergency for Batu Sapi and cancelling the by-election for the seat.

 Its Chairman Dato ‘Sri Bung Moktar Radin (pic) said the Agong’s proactive decision was aimed at protecting the people from the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic.

 “The declaration of emergency is not intended to deny the democratic rights of the people, especially the voters in Batu Sapi,” he said.
