Drugs: Trio held off S’kan waters

SANDAKAN: The Marine Police detained two local men and a Filipino suspected of drug possession off Tabangka waters, here, Monday.

Sandakan Marine Police Operations Headquarters commanding officer DSP Rusdin Banin said the suspects were detained at about 8am during a patrol.

“During body checks, a bag was found on the suspect and further investigation found that it contained a folded tin and several packets of clear crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine or syabu and a lighter,” he said.
