PENAMPANG: The residents here including those not undergoing home quarantines are still waiting for their appeal for food baskets aid although Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)-led State government has announced an allocation of RM2 million worth of food aid.

DAP Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang (pic) said the fund was allocated for Penampang as it is one of the zones in which RM2 million has been channelled through the Penampang District Office.

However, she said to date, the residents here feel that their appeal for help continue to fall on deaf ears.
