Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has rejected criticism after their 1-1 draw with Villarreal.
Mariano Diaz struck for Real as they battled to earn a point.
But Zidane insisted: "I'll go forward with excitement.
"You get on with what you're doing and I'll get on with my job.
"We've dropped two points [here]. I have to congratulate my players for the effort they made. It annoys me because of the effort we made. We deserved a lot more today."
On taking off goalscorer Mariano, he added: "He'd not played for a long time and he was exhausted."
