Everton youngster Tyler Onyango has won praise from academy chief David Unsworth.
The 17 year-old was part of an impressive trio alongside Beni Baningime and Einar Iversen which helped secure a 2-0 win over Chelsea U23 at Southport on Sunday.
Unsworth told the Liverpool Echo: "[He had] Energy, great energy.
"We've been working with Tyler on actually arriving in the box and getting those goals.
"That will then take him onto the next level and put him on the first team radar. He's done that [against Chelsea].
"These boys [Onyango and Iversen] are young boys as well, so there's still loads and loads of development in them.
"They're going to be, hopefully, top young players."
