BILD says United could try and 'fix a deal' for Upamecano in January.
In Germany it's claimed United will go into the January market to sign the RB Leipiz centre-back.
He's definitely on their radar, but the 22-year-old may not be attainable mid-season. Instead, United will seek to settle on a deal over the New Year ahead of welcoming the France international in June.
Upamecano's buyout clause is set to fall to €45m in 2021, so making him even more attractive to the likes of United.
