Barcelona legend Carles Rexach has been sacked by the interim board.
Rexach, who served Barca as a player, coach and sporting director was acting as an adviser to former president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
La Vanguardia says the temporary board, led by Carles Tusquets, has axed Rexach - a surprising call given the club's statutes make it clear that such a management commission will only intervene at a minimum.
Jaume Masferrer, another of Bartomeu's advisers, was also previously fired.
However, the Rexach decision is a surprise given his legend status at Barca.
