DFA warns M’sians of ‘travel fee scam’

Kota Kinabalu:  The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) cautioned Malaysians and other foreign nationals who wish to enter Philippines against a travel fee scam  operating there.

 “The scam targets foreign nationals who wish to enter the country amid the imposed travel restriction,” Foreign Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr (pic) said.

 In his tweet message, he said DFA  received reports of a “travel exemption fee” that supposedly allows the entry of foreign nationals into the country.
