Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be worried going to Manchester City this weekend.
Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and midfielder Fabinho who has also played at the heart of the back four this season, have all missed games through injury.
Given the circumstances going into the City fixture, Neville doesn't think that Klopp will be approaching the clash in a relaxed frame of mind.
Neville told Sky Sports: “It wouldn't surprise me if in a few weeks' time they deal with that issue with Van Dijk and bring in a centre-back just to get through, even if it's on loan or a more permanent solution.
“I think Jurgen Klopp will be nervous because they will be more exposed. I'm looking forward to seeing Manchester City vs Liverpool next Sunday."
