Apple’s iPhone 12 series will be arriving in Malaysia on the 13th November 2020. To secure your unit, you can pre-order the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max starting today, the 6th November at 9pm. If you plan to get your hands on one, here’s everything you need to know.

This year, Apple has introduced a total of 4 models and below are the official prices for the Malaysian market:

Unlike other first wave countries that got the 6.1″ iPhone 12 and 12 Pro a couple of weeks early, Malaysians will get all 4 models at the same time. The smaller and larger iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max will be released globally on the 13th of November and that means Malaysia is among the first wave countries to get them next Friday.
Buy it on a Telco Contract
Similar to previous years, the big 4 telcos will be offering the new iPhone lineup on contract. This includes Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile. Usually, the telcos would offer two ways of buying the devices and this includes monthly instalment without upfront payment or a standard contract where you pay for the subsidised device price upfront.
At the time of writing, the telcos have yet to release their iPhone 12 bundle offers so you’ll have to wait until this evening for the full details. If you’re looking for a telco that offers the lowest cost of ownership, do stay tuned to us as we will be putting up a comparison soon.
Purchase without contract
If you don’t want to be tied down to a 24-month telco contract, you can get the new iPhone directly from Apple or through authorised Apple resellers. Due to the current pandemic situation, it is advisable to pre-order it online and opt for delivery or pickup.
