Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho has kept a promise to Sergio Reguilon by purchasing him a £500 ham for his performance against Manchester City.
The Portuguese posted a photo on Instagram with the leg of ham and Reguilon, accompanied with the caption: "A promise is a promise," Mourinho wrote. "It cost me £500 but I keep my promises."
It is unclear exactly what promise Mourinho made, but it might have had something to do with Reguilon's superb defensive performance on City winger Riyad Mahrez.
Spurs claimed a 2-0 win over Pep Guardiola's side, taking them top of the Premier League table.
