Liverpool fullback Andrew Robertson's hamstring issue has been played down.
Robertson is in contention to play for Scotland this Wednesday suggesting his hamstring issue isn't as bad as first feared.
The Liverpool left-back missed his nation's 1-0 defeat by Slovakia with a tight-hamstring, but Scotland boss Steve Clarke says he may return to face Israel.
"Andy was probably a little bit worse than the rest, which is why I left him out. It would have been too big a risk," explained Clarke.
"But he's coming to Israel so we'll assess him over there and hopefully get him on the pitch. That would be good as we'd like our captain on the pitch."
The news will be music to the ears of those at Liverpool, although the club will continue to keep a close eye on the left-back.
