Almere City striker Elias Sorensen retains hope of making it at parent club Newcastle United.
With a year left on his deal after his current loan, Sorensen accepts his latest move could prove to be make or break for his Magpies dream.
He told Chronicle Live: “I'm not going to make excuses. It's down to myself to do well in training and work as hard as I can every single day to get the chance.
"It's not going to come easy, but I've got two years left. I'm still pushing and it's still my dream to get in that Newcastle first team.
"I feel the chance is there. I just want to keep going and keep pushing, and hopefully my dream will come true."
The Dane added: "I've settled in well. I'm in a much happier place than I was for the last 18 months. I'm really enjoying my football and life again.
"I think it was important thing for me to get a fresh start. In England, a lot of people know who I am and think I couldn't play for Blackpool and Carlisle.
"Over here, no-one really knows what I'm about so I got a fresh start which I think helped me to hit the ground running."
