Shafie says special attention should be given to Sabah

Mohd Shafie (pic) also said special attention will be given to Sabah, one of the poorest states in Malaysia and also currently the state with the highest number of Covid-19 cases which, as a consequence, majority of households and businesses are now in dire state. 

“Thus, to assist the people, additional assistance is needed. The state government should provide additional interest loan free on top of what the federal government has provided. This is to help more SMEs that are badly affected by economic crisis.

“Allocation will be provided to ensure food security. Agriculture and agrofood industry will be heavily promoted, particularly by providing grant to resuscitate and promote food security in Sabah.
