Beluran to tighten measures after cases up

BELURAN: Enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) here will be tightened following the increase in Covid-19 cases in the district.

 District Police Chief Supt Kasim Muda said this also follows the district’s categorisation as an orange zone. 

 He said for the Beluran district, a joint monitoring team for three zones, namely Beluran, Telupid and Paitan, had been established to carry out roadblocks, Snap Check, Op Payung, MPV Patrol and monitoring activities of SOP compliance among the local community.
