Former Rangers boss Alex McLeish is backing a move for Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard.
McLeish believes Jesse Lingard would be a good signing for Steven Gerrard and Rangers.
The Manchester United man is out of contract in the summer, and has struggled for game time in the last year at Old Trafford.
Speaking to Ibrox News, McLeish said: “Jesse has definitely struggled in the last couple of years, but he's got undoubted ability and talent and he'd be an asset for Rangers.
"He'd be an asset for any team.
“He's still quite a young guy, though, and I think he'd want to stay in the Premier League."
