NGO donates face shields

Kota Kinabalu: The State Health Department (JKNS) received 27,000 face shields worth approximately RM168,000 from the District 3310 Rotary International Disaster Response Team.

The face shields were presented to State Health Director Datuk Dr Christina Rundi at a ceremony organised by the District 3310 Disaster Relief Response Team and Rotary Club of Likas Bay, at the Sabah Indian Association building, here, Tuesday.

Its spokesperson, former Rotary Club Kota Kinabalu Pearl President Datuk Dr Tarsiah TZ Taman said the donation was a result of a joint effort between various international Rotary Clubs to raise funds for the purchase of medical equipment.
