Former Arsenal attacker Lukas Podolski has revealed he could've signed for Manchester City.
The offer arrived when Podolski was with Bayern Munich, where he played between 2006 and 2009.
“I met Manchester City once in Munich," recalled the 130-cap Germany international on the podcast, 'Einfach mal Luppen' by Toni and Felix Kroos.
Podolski explained: “Back then (Sven-Göran) Eriksson was the trainer and we had talks.
"That was very interesting, but I made up my mind that I wanted to go back to Cologne."
