Arsenal legend Tony Adams was furious with the club's defenders after a 2-0 loss to Tottenham in the North London derby.

Spurs went into the game in red hot form, while the Gunners wanted to get out of the bottom half of the table.

They were unable to put in a compelling performance, and allowed Spurs to score two goals on the counter to take the game 2-0.

On television, Adams blasted the Gunners' rearguard for naivete.

"Why are the central defenders not spotting this? There's four players there," Adams told Premier League Productions regarding Kane's goal to make it 2-0.

"Why are they not screaming at the midfield players?

"When you've got a player walking off the pitch [Thomas Partey], you're going: 'Hold on a minute, someone else sit in here!'.

"Get it sewn up! It's complete naivety."
