Kota Kinabalu: The Ministry of Health (MOH) is currently gathering data on individuals who will be prioritised in receiving the Covid-19 vaccine when it rolls out, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun (pic). He was responding to a question whether the State Government has negotiated with the Federal Government or (MOH) on the number of vaccines Sabah would receive. “At this stage, State-Federal negotiation is more focused on statistics and data collection. The State Health Department (JKNS) has discussed with MOH regarding the data collection of high-risk individuals, such as frontliners and security personnel.

“Data is also collected for other high-risk individuals such as the elderly and those suffering from chronic illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes and chronic respiratory illnesses, among others,” he said in a virtual press conference, Wednesday.
