AC Milan have opened talks with Liverpool for Divock Origi.

That's according to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, who says the Rossoneri are interested in bringing the Belgian forward to Italy for the second half of the season.

As such, they have already spoken to Anfield chiefs about a deal.

Champions League hero Origi has only managed one goal for Liverpool (against Lincoln in the Carabao Cup) so far this season in eight appearances, while AC Milan are top of the Serie A table.

Milan see Origi as ideal cover for veteran centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
