Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho expects a battle against London rivals Fulham.

Former Spur Scott Parker's men are unbeaten in four in the Premier League – albeit all draws.

Speaking to Spurs TV, Jose said: “They are getting lots of good results, they've found a way to play, they forgot some principles they had at the beginning of the season and they are now playing in a completely different way with a completely different philosophy.

"They are getting results, very good results against the best teams, so a difficult match for us."

Asked about team news in his pre-match press conference, Mourinho ruled out Gareth Bale, who was forced off at half-time in our Carabao Cup win at Stoke last week with a calf issue.

Mourinho has already said he expects Giovani Lo Celso to miss the festive period with the injury he sustained against Leicester on 20 December and is doubtful over the fitness of Lucas and Carlos Vinicius, who both missed our draw at Wolves on Sunday.

He added: “I don't expect Gareth to be fit, I wouldn't say it's a serious injury, but I would say a few weeks. I have doubts that Lucas and Carlos will be ready."
