Food aid for KB fire victims 

FIVE families received food donations after they lost their houses to a fire at Kg Pinolobu, Kota Belud. The donations were presented by Kota Belud Bersatu Division Head, Datuk Japlin Akim, during his visit to the village on Sunday. “Disasters can happen unexpectedly and the government has an obligation to help to ease the burden borne by disaster victims,” he said, adding that with the current Covid-19 pandemic, life is made harder for those who have lost their homes to disasters like fire. On that note, he urged the people to be a caring and helpful community in assisting those in need. “Let’s care for our family and neighbours together,” he said.
