Samsung Galaxy S21 series confirmed to exclude charger

Samsung has decided to follow Apple's footsteps to exclude charger from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series.

From mockery to an inspiration?

When Apple first started shipping the new iPhones without their chargers and earphones, Samsung mocked them by posting on Facebook that chargers are included with the Galaxy phones. The post was soon removed and now, Samsung plans to do exactly what Apple is doing.

According to an ANATEL certification, three Samsung phone will not be shipping with a charger and earphones, but these devices are being tested with two Samsung chargers. It's most likely that Samsung will also sell fast charging power adapters separately so those who wants to enjoy the full potential of the Galaxy S21 series will have to purchase them.

Chargers may still be included for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series in Brazil

However, Brazil recently ordered Apple to include chargers for the new iPhones as the government is not convinced that Apple's move will really bring a positive change to the environment. If so, it's possible that the Galaxy S21 series that is sold in Brazil will also face the same consequences.
