Manchester United are closing in on a deal for young Ecuadorian Moises Caicedo.
The Red Devils are circling around the 19-year-old midfielder, who plays for Independiente del Valle.
According to the Daily Record, Caicedo is valued at roughly €6 million by his club, along with bonuses and other clauses.
He has already played four times for Ecuador and scored one goal, impressing as a box-to-box midfielder.
United have invested a lot of money in young players recently, signing Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo on deadline day from Uruguayan outfit Penarol and Italian side Atalanta respectively.
The moves are a part of the "cultural reboot" the club is undertaking under chief Ed Woodward and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after many seasons of misplaced spending in the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era.
