Gini Wijnaldum refused to speak about his contract situation after Sunday's 4-0 win over Wolves.
The Dutchman, who has less than one year remaining on his current deal, scored a brilliant goal in front of 2000 supporters at Anfield.
Asked about his contract after the game, Wijnaldum replied: "I already said in my previous interview, I don't speak about my contract situation."
And when quizzed if Liverpool produced a champions display, he added: "I don't want to say it's a 'champions' performance'. We were patient, the position play was good and we scored good goals.
"The fans helped the performance a lot because they cheered during the game and before we only had the bench for support."
