Kota Kinabalu: Kapayan Assemblywoman Jannie Lasimbang (pic) said the plan to erect 417 telecommunication towers as announced by the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) Government is too little to accommodate the increasing number of users in the State. “In this era of globalisation, information and communication technology play an important role as a channel to provide information to the world community. “Without the internet, information recovery would be difficult and very time-consuming task,” she said in a statement on Saturday.
