SANDAKAN: It is high time for the newly-elected government to take up the problem faced by the Sandakan netizens since April this year, said Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Supreme Council member Robert Chong (pic).

Chong said he had highlighted the rubbish collection problem since April under the then Warisan administration but the issue had fallen on deaf ears.

“Sandakan YBs have no interest in resolving this health matter but instead support the Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) President Wong Fu Tin in hiring trucks for rubbish collection rather than looking for a qualified contractor.”
