Valencia midfielder Kang-in Lee is interesting Manchester City.
La Razon says the 19-year-old is fed up with his situation at the Mestalla and is unwilling to sign an extension on his current deal which expires in 2022.
As a result, Valencia are believed to be open to offers in January and City are credited with an interest.
City have already benefitted from a contract row at Valencia, signing Ferran Torres in the summer at a cut-price.
Lee is highly rated by coach Javi Gracia, who will be reluctant to lose the South Korea international in January.
