Trabzonspor are pushing to sign Newcastle United defender DeAndre Yedlin on a free transfer.
The Evening Chronicle says Yedlin is a target of Turkish side Trabzonspor ahead of the January window opening on Friday.
The right-back has won his place back in Steve Bruce's line-up but will be out of contract at the end of the season.
Trabzonspor are trying to sign Yedlin on a free transfer and are hoping that the Magpies can come to a settlement on his remaining wages.
Trabzonspor finished second in the Turkish Super Lig last term but are currently sitting in ninth spot.
