Quique Setien has gone public with his anger towards Barcelona.
It was announced on Sunday that Setien was taking Barca to court over the compensation they offered following his sacking.
"Barcelona did not compensate me at the time and did not offer me anything," Setién said in an interview with Cadena COPE, referring to his initial dismissal after the 8-2 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.
"They didn't even call me to say I was fired."
Setien's assistant, Eder Sarabia, also said: "From a sporting point of view, these are tough times, that was already clear when we started our job. That certainly has an influence on the sporting performance.
"You always hope that as an insider you can ensure better results, but despite our hard work, unfortunately that was not the case."
