Liverpool are calm over Mohamed Salah's interview with AS last week.

The Mirror says Liverpool are said to be relaxed over an interview Salah gave to Spanish media in which he discussed his future at the club.

Salah recently gave a rare interview to Spanish daily AS, which was published on Saturday morning ahead of Liverpool's trip to Crystal Palace.

The Egyptian was subsequently named on the bench for the game at Selhurst Park, leading some people to suggest that Jurgen Klopp had dropped him over some of his comments.

Salah had said that he was "disappointed" to not be made Liverpool captain for the recent Champions League trip to FC Midtjylland, with the armband going to Trent Alexander-Arnold, while he also added that the possibility of a new contract was something that was in the club's hands.
