Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard will manage in the Premier League one day.
That is the opinion of Paul Robinson, the former Leeds United and Tottenham goalkeeper.
Gerrard has been quietly impressing with Rangers in Scotland, as his team is unbeaten in the first 25 games of the 2020/2021 season.
When asked about Gerrard and Frank Lampard enjoying success as managers, Robinson told Stadium Astro: "Not at all [surprised].
"I think they've been given their opportunities very quickly and taken them with both hands.
"Steven Gerrard's doing a fantastic job at Rangers, the way he's turning their fortunes around in the time he's been there.
"They're top of the Scottish Premiership. Last season they mounted a title challenge for a certain amount of time before falling away.
"Now they're competing in Europe, they're at the top of the league.
"I genuinely think it's only going to be a matter of time before he comes into the Premier League."
