TAWAU: The blood bank of Tawau hospital collected 80 pints in a blood donation campaign (pic above) held at the lobby of Eastern Plaza on Nov 14-15.There were 98 applicants but only 40 donors were eligible on the respective days. The blood donation campaign was jointly organised by the Tawau hospital and Tawau LTK Recreation Club (Pesta YuWang) every weekend in November and December, starting from 10am until 4pm in order to overcome the blood supply shortage problem in the blood bank.
