Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is confident Lucas Digne will sign a new deal.
Ancelotti has confirmed talks are underway with the France left-back about a new contract.
“The situation is that we are happy to offer a new contract to Lucas because he is an important player both for the present and for the future," said Ancelotti.
"I think the renewal will not be a problem because he is happy to be at Everton and we are happy to have him with us."
The 27 year-old has a deal to 2023 and is being linked with Manchester City.
