Suspected Filipino sea robbers nabbed in Semporna

SEMPORNA: Three Filipinos suspected of being involved in sea robbery in Tawau and Kunak  were arrested in two separate raids in Semporna on Friday and Saturday.

Sabah East Coast Special Security Area (Esscom) Commander, DCP Datuk Ahmad Fuad Othman, believed that with the arrests of the suspects aged between 20 and 50 years, several cases of theft and robbery that  occurred off Sabah were solved.

The arrests were made by Esscom in collaboration with the Marine Police in two houses in ​​Pulau Nusa Tengah and Pulau Omadal.
