AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is happy hearing Zlatan Ibrahimovic state they can win the Scudetto.
The Swede made the declaration yesterday.
Pioli said, “Zlatan is right to think this way, probably even the other players, but the reality is that we have not been in the Champions League for years. We want to improve what we did last season and bring Milan where we deserve to be.
“I believe that our journey began in January with the arrival of Ibra, [Simon] Kjaer and [Alexis] Saelemaekers," he added.
“We changed the way we play and how we stay on the pitch. Results have boosted our self-confidence. We beat clubs like Juventus and other important opponents after the lockdown.
“Football and basketball can be similar, they are two team sports, I am fascinated by basketball, I always follow it with great attention."
