Kota Kinabalu: The 33 State Assembly members who sued the previous Warisan-Plus State Government and Head of State over the July 30 dissolution of the State Assembly – that led to the State election and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coming to power – have decided not to pursue the matter.

A Notice of Discontinuance was filed on Thursday in the Federal Court.

According to a statement from the firm of solicitors  who represented Chief Minister Datuk Seri Haji Hajiji Haji Mohd Noor and 32 others, it received instructions from former Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman (pic)  in consultation with Hajiji (the 8th Applicant) to withdraw the Notice of Motion for leave to appeal to the Federal Court.
