Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is being urged to try again for Valencia.
Marca says Radrizzani has made a past attempt to buy the LaLiga giants from owner Peter Lim.
The pair are good friends, but Lim turned down the Italian's attempt.
However, sources close to both owners have told Radrizzani not to give up and to try again for Valencia this year.
Any deal would have to reach at least €200m, which would mean Radrizzani needing to find outside investors to help fund the bid.
