Food aid to 300 families in Pulau Mantanani

Kota Kinabalu: MyFundAction volunteers on Friday channelled humanitarian aid to 300 Asnaf families in Pulau Mantanani and Pulau Banggi with the cooperation of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).

The head of the mission, Noor Shafiqah Kassim, said 150 families comprising senior citizens on each island who were either ailing or could no longer work received the aid.

She said the challenges including rough seas, rain and damaged aid boxes failed to dampen the spirit of mission members in carrying out the task.
