Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has told teammates the club deserves better from them.
United were on course to progress from their Champions League Group H after early victories over Paris Saint-Germain and Leipzig, but three defeats in their following four matches saw the journey come to an end in Germany on Tuesday.
Portugal international Fernandes kept quiet immediately after the match, but has now broken his silence on social media.
"Not good enough from us," Fernandes wrote, alongside a picture of himself looking dejected. "We have to do much better to represent a such big club and specially playing in the Champions League with big teams!"
