Tawau UTC closed for disinfection, sanitation works

TAWAU: The Road Transport Department (RTD) in the UTC Tawau was temporarily closed on Wednesday for disinfection and sanitation works.

The department has only resumed operation end of Oct but it was closed down again to facilitate for disinfection works.

The UTC-RTD office was aimed at reducing congestion at the RTD at Jalan Tengku Osman (Hill Top area) where many people queued up daily on week days.

The temporary closure of the UTC-RTD would be bad news for road users in Tawau as they have to rely on the RTD (Hill Top area) until the UTC-RTD reopen again. – Christy Chok
