Leicester City have started contract talks with Jonny Evans.

The veteran center back is an important player for the Foxes and has been excellent since arriving from West Bromwich Albion in 2018.

He is now 32, but is still a key member of Brendan Rodgers' team.

Per Sky Sports News, the two parties are now talking about a two year contract.

There is still some distance between them on wages, but the will is there to make a deal.

Evans is surprisingly being linked with a move back to Manchester United on a free in the summer.

But he would likely get much more game time with Leicester in the coming years.
