Watford have found their next head coach, appointing Xisco Munoz with immediate effect.

He takes over after the sacking of Vladimir Ivic.

The Spaniard arrives from Dinamo Tbilisi in the Georgian top flight.

Xisco is the fifth manager to take over at the Hornets in the past year.

Ivic got his marching orders with Watford fifth in the Championship, four points away from second spot.

Xisco, who played for Valencia, Levante and Real Betis, has signed a contract of an unknown length.

Roberto Cuesta and Jorge Abella are his assistant coach and strength and conditioning coach.

Antonello Brambilla is the new goalkeeping coach, moving from his previous role within the club.
