Former Juventus midfielder Simone Padoin is backing the return of Paul Pogba.

Juve continue to be linked with a bid for the unsettled Manchester United midfielder.

Padoin told TMW: “He would make the fortunes of every coach and team. I see him a bit like (Alvaro) Morata, he is one who would appreciate the fact of returning to Turin for how well he was and is still linked to the team.

"But I think that Juventus is equipped in the middle: I like (Pablo) Bentancur, and I see Rabiot having grown up compared to last year. I would have liked to see (Miralem) Pjanic again, an exceptional player who can create danger with set pieces even if not always. I would have kept him because it reminds me of that (Andrea) Pirlo who is on the bench today."
