4,639 UMS students to get scrolls in March

Kota Kinabalu: The 22nd Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Convocation declaration will be implemented on Dec 30.

UMS Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Dr Taufiq Yap Yun Hin said the declaration would be made by Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin as the Chancellor of UMS through a recording that will be posted on UMS Facebook on that date. 

“This declaration is important to enable students who graduate this year to get their scrolls.

“The scroll allows them to use the degree qualifications taken to apply for a job,” he said in a courtesy call on Juhar.
